After a visit to Cue and Dart World in Codsall, Mike has commended the business for their efforts to bring the community together and nurture the next generation of darts and snooker players.
On a visit to the business which is located on Station Road in Codsall, Mike heard about the business’s commitment to encourage new players into snooker and darts by offering products to suit all budgets as well as free initial tuition.
During the visit, Mike also took part in a snooker match with 17-year-old Ollie Wordley.
Mike said:
“Cue and Dart World is a fantastic local business helping to create opportunities that encourage local people, particularly younger residents, to try these great sports and meet new people.
“I thoroughly enjoyed hearing more about the business and the work that Murray and the team do in the community - also having a match of snooker with Ollie, even if he did show me how it’s done.”
Murray Phillips, owner at Cue and Dart World, said:
“We really appreciate Mike taking the time as our MP to visit local businesses.
“We’re proud of what we have built here at Cue and Dart World in Codsall, and it’s so encouraging to see younger players participating more in these sports again – especially since Luke Littler came on the scene and inspired the younger generation.”
