The King has sent Mike his thanks for the booklet of artwork and creative writing by local school pupils which Mike compiled and sent to His Majesty last year.
In the letter, His Majesty passes on his thanks to Mike for his "message of glad tidings and for attaching the wonderful booklet of art and creative writing by some of the pupils of Dudley South".
The letter added that His Majesty "has been deeply grateful by the particular kindness he has received over the last year, and is most grateful for the warm support shown to him and his family. He sends his kindest wishes and blessings for 2024."
